By admin - Posted on 07 October 2014

There will be an information session regarding the proposed rezoning of 3 properties on 76 Avenue and 106 Street to accommodate a 28 unit apartment and commercial building. The City is asking for community feedback.

From the City of Edmonton:

Queen Alexandra Public Meeting

Proposed mixed residential/commercial development

Edmontonians are invited to learn about a proposed rezoning in Queen Alexandra. The application proposes to rezone 10567, 10571 and 10579-76 Avenue NW from the Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC) and Small Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3) to a Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).

Date:  Thursday, October 16, 2014
Time:  7 p.m.
Location:  Queen Alexandra Community League, 10425 University Avenue NW

The proposed change would provide opportunity for a three-storey, mixed-use development with underground parking. The development would include commercial space on the main floor with up to 28 dwellings above.

The meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide your feedback to the City and applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council before it makes its decision on the rezoning.
